California Warplanes, Palm Springs Air Museum
Palm Springs Air Museum, 745 North Gene Autry Trail, Palm Springs Regional Airport, 92262. (760) 778-6262, ext 222. Located on the Northeast side of the airport, the museum is open seven days a week from 10 AM to 5 PM. The museum has a large collection of flying aircraft from the Second World War, many of which have been used in movies. The museum has three main display hangars, theatre, gift shop and airport access for flight demonstrations.
