Canadian Women's Volunteer Reserve Corps (Canadian Beavers).
Before the formal establishment of the Canadian Women's Army Corps (CWAC) in August of 1941, dozens of unofficial organizations such as these formed across the country to aid the war effort. The Women's Volunteer Reserve Corps operated in Québec, Ontario, and the Maritimes.
