The Canada Aviation and Space Museum is located at 11 Aviation Parkway, Ottawa, Ontario.

The aim of this website is to locate, identify and document every historical Warplane preserved in Canada.  Many contributors have assisted in the hunt for these aircraft to provide and update the data on this website.  Photos are by the author unless otherwise credited.  Any errors found here are by the author, and any additions, correctons or amendments to this list of Warplanes in Canada would be most welcome and may be e-mailed to the author at hskaarup@rogers.com.

Sikorsky S-51/H-5 Dragonfly Helicopter (Serial No. 9601), (5118).  This aircraft is currently on loan to the National Museum of the RCAF, CFB Trenton, Ontario.

Sikorsky HO4S-3 Horse Helicopter (Serial No. 55877).  55877 participated in eight rescue missions and was credited with rescuing thirty-two people and four animals over its lifetime.  Eight maple leaves decorate the nose of the helicopter, one for each rescue mission.  Its most famous mission was its rescue of twenty-one crew members of the Liberian freighter Kismet II, along with the ship's dog and cat, which took place on 26 Nov 1955 off the coast of Cape Breton Island.  (CA&SM)

Sikorsky CH-124A Sea King (Serial No. 4028), No. 423 Squadron, previously on display at the Connaught Range and Primary Training Centre, Shirley's Bay, Ottawa, Ontario. 4028 was moved to the Canada Aviation and Space Museum on 19 Dec 2019. It is currently on display in front of the NDHQ complex on Carling Avenue.
