Consolidated PB4Y-2G Privateer (BuNo. 59876). Being restored. Built in 1945, this Privateer served the USN and Coast Guard before being flown as a fire-bomber, Reg. No. N6813D, until it was retired after an accident in 1975 in Alaska.

North American P-51D-25NA Mustang (Serial No. 44-73973), adopted (Serial No. 44-10755), ex-RCAF (Serial No. 9281).  Mustang 9281 was operated by 403 City of Calgary Squadron, RCAF.  This photo was taken on 15 Feb 1956 at RCAF Station Calgary, Alberta with Lynn Garrison in the cockpit.  9281 was sold by the Canadian government to James De Furia of New York and subsequently flew with the El Salvadorian Air Force during the 1969 Football War.  Collector Jerry Janes brought 9281 back to Canada where it was restored and named "Cottonmouth".  Reg. No. N151DP, this aircraft is currenly with John Stine, Stine Welding Inc.  

Brighton, Warbirds of Glory Museum

North American B-25J Mitchell (Serial No. 44-30733), "Sandbar Mitchell".  Manufactured in Kansas City in 1944, served with the USAF from 1946 to 1959 as a bomber trainer.  On the civil register as Reg. No. N9088Z, serving as a fire bomber in Alaska. Crashed on a sandbar on 27 June 1969 in the Tanana River.  Salvaged in Jan 2013 from Alaska.  Parts are being used from North American TB-25K Mitchell (Serial No. 44-30497).  This aircraft was on display in a theme park in Destin painted all yellow initially documented as being (Serial No. 44-86844).  The forward fuselage is being incorporated into the Sandbar Mitchell restoration.  It was built as B-25J-30-NC and delivered on 14 Mar 1945, with its initial assignment to Bolling Field, DC as a TB-25J.  It was stored at Pyote, TX after Apr 1947.  It was overhauled at Brookley AFB, AL in July 1951. Modified by Hughes and redesignated as a TB-25K in Nov 1951. Transferred via the Military Assistance Program to the RCAF in Jan 1952.  Assigned serial as RCAF 5212.  Struck off the RCAF inventory in Feb 1962.  Issued provisional Canadian Reg. No. CF-NTP for a one-time ferry flight from Lincoln Park to Calgary, Alberta in Oct. 1961. Sold in 1962 to Columbus E. Woods, Lewiston, MT, Reg. No. N92880.  Sold in Apr 1963 to Arthur Jones, Slidell, LA.  Apparently this B-25 was one of three aircraft, which included (Serial No. 86844) all owned in the late 1960's by a gentlemen who removed all the data plates and flew the same N number on all three aircraft.  The only one that survived was (Serial No. 44-30947), painted as (Serial No. 44-86844).
