Some of our Canadian stamps come and go so quickly, we miss seeing them. This one is a Blue Whale stamp from 2010.
My father served in the RCAF, and while we were posted overseas at 3 (F) Wing, Zweibrucken, Germany, he corresponded with family still living in Denmark and visited often. Ever heard of the story "Out of Africa"? Well, his Aunt Laura was the real McCoy, and while they were working in Kenya, she sent us this postal collection - it sparked a life-long interest in all of us wanting to see more of the world.
