According to the  1974 edition of ACP 125 Cansupp 1A, "Sheldrake" was the appointment title for the artillery representative in a headquarters.  "GOLF" was the arms indicator to be used by artillery callsigns on nets other than their own, especially those of the supported arms.

155-mm M109A4 Medium Self-Propelled Howitzer, 1985, (Serial No. 77225), AC: AX, ECC: 119205 HUI C: 1941, SAUI C: 1941, VMO No. DLE29685, VMO Date: 09 Dec 2002.  CFR 77225 was secured by the Royal Military College of Canada, Department of Applied Military Science in the Fall of 2010.  It was delivered to the Department on 16 May 2012.  It is currently serving as a training aid on RMC grounds, facing the Technical Staff College, West of the main road.

Wall of Honour

The Class of 1963, as their gift to the College upon entry into the Old Brigade in 2009, created and donated to RMC, a Wall of Honour to recognize ex-cadets of the Royal Military Colleges (RMC, RRMC, CMR) and others with College numbers for outstanding achievements and contributions to Canada or the world.

On 15 September 2019, the name of Lieutenant-Colonel Norman Bruce “Ike” Buchanan RCA was added to The Royal Military College’s Wall of Honour. Lieutenant-Colonel Buchanan was one of only 23 Commonwealth Officers to have been awarded three Military Crosses and he is the sole RMC graduate, as well as the only Canadian Artillery Officer in the Second World War, to have had his courage so recognized. Brigadier-General Ernie Beno and Lieutenant-Colonel Jeff Schamehorn organized a large Gunner turn-out to help pay tribute to this remarkable officer.
